Well Met!
Hello and welcome to Clarksville's own organization for medieval and renaissance history enthusiasts - The Shire of Crimson River, a chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Whether you're new to the SCA, moving from another area, or returning to us, we're so happy you're here.

My name is Vicki Johnston. (I am known in the SCA by my historical name, Ginevra Brembati.) I hold the office of chatelaine and it is my privilege to welcome and assist newcomers. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and provide any assistance you may need getting started in the SCA. You can send me an e-mail here.

If you are new to the SCA, I highly encourage you do check out the Newcomer's Portal where you can see pictures, videos, and descriptions of all sorts of amazing activities awaiting you in our organization.

I also encourage you to join our online conversation on Facebook, where you can find up to the moment information about all our activities.

Everyone is welcome to come to any of our meetings or practices. I particularly encourage you to come to our Newcomer's meetings held on the first Monday of the month, starting at 7pm. We meet in the Books-A-Million café (map & directions) on Wilma-Rudolph Blvd. Look for our flag.

I look forward to meeting you soon,
Ginevra Brembati

Participants 17 and Younger: We welcome and encourage families and people of all ages to participate in our organization. At events, we frequently have classes and activities specifically designed for children and young adults. As a young adult, you do not need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend any of our shire meetings or practices, although a parent or legal guardian must be present for you to participate in combat activities. A parent or legal guardian must accompany you to any SCA events. If your parent or guardian cannot attend the event, they must designate an adult to be responsible for you during the event. Your parent must fill out and have the responsible adult bring to the event the "Adult in Charge of a Minor" and "Notarized Medical Authorization" waiver forms found here.
